Josh Purple

Josh Purple brings a wealth of experience and creativity to our team, with over two decades of immersion in the 3D industry. Starting his journey in 1999, he crafted 3D laser graphics for Lasertainment, paving the way for a dynamic career. From his role as a Visualization Specialist in architecture and engineering to his tenure as a Creative Designer and Graphic Production expert at Banner Engineering, Josh has consistently pushed the boundaries of innovation.

In 2002 he was the Chair of the Mpls/St.Paul Chapter of ACM/SIGGRAPH, helping to put on the Minnesota Electronic Theatre.

Outside of work, his dedication shines through his volunteer work as a cartoonist for the "Kids Clubhouse" show on Star Studio, where he has been performing live on stage at Children's Minnesota hospitals since 1996.With a B.A. from Macalester College and an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Science and animation, Josh is a valuable asset, combining technical prowess with artistic flair.

3D Animation

From creating TV commercials for Comcast, Lasertainment, Meditech, local Minneapolis studios, having and using 3ds Max, Maya, ZBrush, VFX, Creature Animation and Real-Time rendering, 3D Animation work has been a part of my life every day since 1999.

Architectural Visualization

Also known as archviz, is the process of creating 3D images or animations of proposed architectural designs that I have been professionally employed in using 3ds Max, Vray, Redshift, Unreal Engine, Lumion and other 3D apps and rendering engines for Cre8Play, Textile, Lifetime and other companies for over a decade.

Product Rendering

Helping clients make their products shine using 3D apps and Real-Time rendering engines like Keyshot, Arnold, Vray, Unreal Engine, where I model, light and render in 3D, any kind of client product needed. Playground structures, engineering parts, swimsuits, beverage cans, medical devices, furniture, -you name it!
